# Amazon Agents Gateway

> **This is not an official Amazon site.** Amazon Agents Gateway is an independent proxy that is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. It lets AI agents buy on Amazon, and order and payment details are passed directly to Amazon to complete the purchase.

## Endpoints
- `GET /v1/items/{asin}?marketplace=amazon.com`: live product details (title, price, availability, rating, images, features). Marketplaces: amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.co.jp, amazon.com.au.
- `POST /v1/purchases`: place an order. JSON body: `items[]` (asin, quantity), `shipping_address`, optional `billing_address`, and `payment` whose `type` is one of `card`, `crypto_permit`, `crypto_eip3009`. Crypto `chain` is one of `eth`, `base`, `bsc`. Send an `idempotency_key` so retries never create a second order. Returns `order_id`.

## Notes
- Not an official Amazon site. Not affiliated with Amazon. Every API response carries an `X-Disclaimer` header and a `notice` field.
- Unknown JSON fields are rejected with HTTP 422 so typos surface early.
- Rate limits: 60 item lookups per minute and 20 purchases per minute per IP.
